nike - 'fate'

David Fincher directed this new Nike spot from our chums at W+K Portland. It tells the story of the life-long rivalry of American Football players LaDainian Tomlinson and Troy Polamalu as their destinies clash in an NFL football game. Soundtrack is a remix of “L’estasi Dell’oro”, (The Ecstasy of Gold), by  Ennio Morricone, written for The Good The Bad and the Ugly.

Not as good as Michael Mann's, but still good. But please, what the f#*k does 'Leave nothing' add/communicate? Seems too vague for instant emotional resonance.

Both those ads are visually and viscerally powerful enough in their own right without shoehorning in a line like that. In my opinion like.

I think it's much better than last year's advert. this has heart, soul and puch. last year just powered all the way through. i think this communicates on more levels. cheers to the wk football gang. now do this same thing for "soccer" please!
